We are trying to raise money for our Military ball for the students! Also we would love to attend more drill competitions! * What is the benefit to the City of Pomona? (An expenditure of public funds must be for primary benefit of the public agency that is making the expenditure)
Your support will help us offer a higher quality experience for all participants. Raising dollars for extracurricular activities is very difficult to do but is vital for our program.

The sponsorship will be used to enhance the festival experience for the community while supporting local artists and business (1) $1,000 will be used to build mural walls covering the cost of materials and labor (2) $3,000 will be used to provide a stipend for mural artists to cover the cost of materials, travel, meals, and time. (3) $1,000 Entertainment/Live Music and clean up supplies (4) $1,000 for porta potty rental & hydration station. * What is the benefit to the City of Pomona? The festival will include free art & craft workshops, demonstrations and entertainment that promotes the arts , encourages creativity and connects people to community resources. It will provide an opportunity for local artists to showcase their work and engage with the community. The event will also increase public awareness of community farms and how they provide access to fresh local fruits and veggies.

We are requesting the use of the city seal on our t-shirts to represent the city of Pomona at our international robotics competition. * Is this an event? If so, please provide anticipated attendance, and flyer or promotional material.

We would anticipate the attendance of 11 student team members, 2 coaches, and 3 community mentors. * How will the Donations/Sponsorship be used? (The donation must primarily serve a public purpose, as opposed to solely benefiting an individual or private organization.)
By donating to our trip you would be rewarding the commitment and effort that went into the robotics team, Bluprints 7767 FTC Robotics Team. It would demonstrate to our community that Pomona encourages STEM to prosper within our city. The donations gained will go towards promotional materials which will showcase Pomona. This includes the seal on our team t-shirts which will be worn by every attendee while competing. * What is the benefit to the City of Pomona? With the support of the City of Pomona, our team will act as ambassadors for our community at an international event. Youth would be further promoting science and technology in the City of Pomona. We hope to inspire other Pomona residents to become involved in robotics. Through this trip, there will be more opportunities for the City of Pomona to be recognized as innovative and creative in robotics.
