It is recommended that:
A Preview of the FY 2023-24 Preliminary General Fund Budget is presented to the Mayor and City Council to receive feedback for the Proposed FY 2023-24 General Fund Budget.
Residents, Businesses, and Community Groups are encouraged to provide feedback on the FY 2023-24 General Fund budget during public comment.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: On March 27, 2023 the City Council was provided a preview of the Preliminary FY 2023-24 General Fund Budget. The same presentation that was presented on March 27, 2023 will be provided to the public on April 5, 2023 at 3:00pm in the City Council chambers. The City Council report that was presented on March 27, 2023 is included with this report (Attachment No. 1). The presentation that will be conducted on April 5, 2023 is included with the report (Attachment No. 2). City staff has promoted these two budget study sessions to various outlets in the Community to encourage citizen feedback during the budget process.
