RESOLUTION NO. 2023-57
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CA, AMENDING THE FY 2022-23 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY RELEASING AND UNAPPROPRIATING $300,000 OF SB-1/RMRA FUNDS FROM “STREET PRESERVATION – LOCAL (FY 21-22),” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-68572,” AND APPROPRIATING THIS $300,000 AND AN ADDITIONAL $600,000 OF AVAILABLE SB-1/RMRA FUND BALANCE TO “STREET PRESERVATION – LOCAL (FY 22-23),” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-68582 WHEREAS, the City Council desires to sufficiently fund “Street Preservation – Local (FY 22-23),” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-68582, in order to award a construction contract; and WHEREAS, $300,000 of SB-1/RMRA funds are available to be released from “Street Preservation ‐ Local (FY 21-22),” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-68572, and there are additional funds available in the SB1/RMRA fund balance; and WHEREAS, additional funds are needed to award a construction contract for “Street Preservation ‐ Local (FY 22‐23),” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-68582; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to appropriate $900,000 of SB-1/RMRA funds to “Street Preservation ‐ Local (FY 22‐23),” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-68582 so that the project may proceed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2022-23 CIP Budget by:
Unappropriating $300,000 of SB-1/RMRA funds from “Street Preservation ‐ Local (FY 21-22),” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-68572 (428-2590-66196-68572; 206-2590-89987-68572; 428-2590-80698-68572); and Appropriating $900,000 of SB-1/RMRA funds to “Street Preservation ‐ Local (FY 22‐23),” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-68582 (428-2590-66196-68582; 206-2590-89987-68582; 428-2590-80698-68582).
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
