RESOLUTION NO. 2023-52
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA RECEIVING A GRANT AWARD OF $94,790 FROM SAN GABRIEL/POMONA REGIONAL CENTER FOR SOCIAL RECREATION AND AMENDING THE FY 2022-23 OPERATING BUDGET BY INCREASING REVENUE ESTIMATES AND APPROPRIATING THE $94,790 IN AWARDED GRANT FUNDS WHEREAS, the City recognizes the importance and need for enhanced community integration for children or adolescents ages three to twenty-one years old residing in San Gabriel/Pomona Regional Center catchment area; WHEREAS, the Inclusive Pomona proposal was selected by Department of Development Services to receive Enhanced Community Integration for Children and Adolescents grant funding for FY 2022-23, is capable of and desires to develop integrated and inclusive social and recreational programs for families, children, and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities in underserved communities served by San Gabriel/Pomona Regional Center and other affiliated regional centers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2022-23 Operating Budget by increasing revenue estimates and appropriating $94,790 in awarded grant funds (215-4190-40889-58777).
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
