RESOLUTION NO. 2023-67
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CA AMENDING THE FY 2022-23 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY RELEASING AND UNAPPROPRIATING $499,208 OF SERIES “BI (AD LOW MOD)” BOND PROCEEDS AND $39,407 OF LOW-MODERATE INCOME HOUSING FUNDS FROM “YEAR-ROUND EMERGENCY SHELTER,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-71044 AND APPROPRIATING THESE FUNDS TO “EMERGENCY SHELTER ANNEX / WATER UTILITY ACCESS,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-71053 WHEREAS, the “Year-Round Emergency Shelter,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71044 is almost complete and has remaining available funds; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the FY 2022-23 CIP Budget by reappropriating available $538,615 of Series “BI (AD Low Mod)” Bond Proceeds and Low-Moderate Income Housing Funds from “Year-Round Emergency Shelter,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71044 to “Emergency Shelter Annex / Water Utility Access,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71053 in order to sufficiently fund the project; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2022-23 CIP Budget by:
Unappropriating $499,208 of Series “BI (AD Low Mod)” Bond Proceeds from “Year-Round Emergency Shelter,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71044 (428-2590-66196-71044; 278-2590-89987-71044; 428-2590-80727-71044); and Unappropriating $39,407 of Low-Moderate Income Housing Funds from “Year-Round Emergency Shelter,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71044 (428-2590-66196-71044; 428-2590-80727-71044); and Appropriating $499,208 of Series “BI (AD Low Mod)” Bond Proceeds to “Emergency Shelter Annex / Water Utility Access,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71053 (428-2590-66196-71053; 278-2590-89987-71053; 428-2590-80727-71043); Appropriating $39,407 of Low-Moderate Income Housing Funds to “Emergency Shelter Annex / Water Utility Access,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71053 (428-2590-66196-71053; 428-2590-80727-71053).
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
