Committee Member Flores introduced herself to the committee.

Finance Director Mowbray reviewed Measure PG and the duties of the Citizens Oversight Committee.

6) FY 2023-2024 General Fund Preliminary Budget Review
Finance Director Mowbray presented the General Fund Preliminary Budget Review. The Budget Study Session will be held in Council Chambers on May 8, 2023 at 7:00 p.m.
Committee Members Morales , Casillas Sanchez , Chair Watkins and Vice Chair Chu asked questions which were answered by Finance Director Mowbray.

7) Discussion/Voting on Committee Member with Three Absences
Revenue Manager Perez presented.
MOTION BY CHAIR WATKINS, SECOND BY VICE CHAIR CHU CARRIED 6 -0 (COMMITTEE MEMBER RUDENAUER ABSENT), to Vote to Recommend that City Council Remove Dean Rudenauer from the Citizens Oversight Committee Due to Absences.

Chair Watkins discussed the presentation made by the committee to the City Council at the Community Budget Study Sessions.
Vice Chair Chu and Committee Member Casillas Sanchez made comments regarding the recommendations made.
Committee Member Morales inquired about how the budget is adopted.

The meeting was adjourned by Chair Watkins at 7:52 p.m. The next meeting of the Citizens Oversight Committee will be held on August 17, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. in the Chuck Bader Conference Room.
