RESOLUTION NO. 2023-73
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2022-23 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) Budget BY unappropriating funds IN THE AMOUNT OF $530,087 AND CLOSING TWO CIP PROJECTS WHEREAS, the projects listed below are included in the adopted FY 2022-23 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budget; WHEREAS, the City Council desires to close two CIP Projects and release the unexpended funds totaling $530,087; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to unappropriate Water funds, and Safe Clean Water Program (Measure W) funds from two (2) CIP Projects and release the funds totaling $530,087 to the original funding sources.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council amends the FY 2022-23 CIP Budget by closing two CIP Projects and releasing/unappropriating a total of $530,087 back to their respective fund balances, as follows:
Close “Well Rehabilitations Phase I” Project No. 528-2590-XXXXX-95085, releasing/unappropriating $463,852 of unexpended Water Funds (528-2590-66196-95085; 571-2590-89951-95085; 528-2590-80702-95085); and Close “Storm Drain Inlet Full Capture Trash Devices” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-81057 and releasing/unappropriating $66,235 of unexpended Safe Clean Water Program (Measure W) funds, (428-2590-66196-81057; 142-2590-89987-81057; 428-2590-80708-81057).
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
