RESOLUTION NO. 2023-118 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, TO AMEND THE FY 2023-24 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY CREATING A NEW PARTIALLY FUNDED CIP PROJECT, “COUNTRY CROSSING PARK PLAYGROUND RESURFACING AND PLAY EQUIPMENT,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-71089, AND APPROPRIATING $75,000 OF AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN (ARP) DISTRICT 5 FUNDING TO THE PROJECT WHEREAS, the City Council desires to replace the rubberized surfacing and playground structure at the Country Crossing Park playground area (Project); and WHEREAS, $75,000 of Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery American Rescue Plan (ARP) District 5 funds are available to partially fund the Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by creating a new partially funded CIP project, “Country Crossing Park Playground Resurfacing and Play Equipment,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71089.
SECTION 2. The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by appropriating $75,000 of Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery American Rescue Plan (ARP) District 5 funds (428-2590-80881-71089 and 428-2590-66196-71089) to “Country Crossing Park Playground Resurfacing and Play Equipment,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71089.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
