RESOLUTION NO. 2023-104
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA RECEIVING A GRANT AWARD OF $8,654 FROM TRI-CITY MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES FOR COMPASSION 101: (RE)CONNECTING TO OUR HUMANITY AND AMENDING THE FY 2023-24 OPERATING BUDGET BY INCREASING REVENUE ESTIMATES AND APPROPRIATING THE $8,654 IN AWARDED GRANT FUNDS WHEREAS, the City recognizes the importance and fostering wellness and strengthening the capacity of the community to increase social connection and mental wellbeing; and WHEREAS, the Compassion 101: (Re)Connecting To Our Humanity proposal was selected by Tri-City Mental Health Service to receive grant funding for FY 2023-24 to dedicate its efforts to improving the wellbeing of youth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2022-23 Operating Budget by increasing revenue estimates and appropriating $8,654 in awarded grant funds (Fund 215-4190-40889-5xxxx-58780) from Tri-City Mental Health Services to administer Compassion 101: (Re)Connecting To Our Humanity.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
