RESOLUTION NO. 2023-119
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, TO AMEND THE FY 2023-24 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY CREATING A NEW CIP PROJECT, “DISTRICT 4 – JAYCEE PARK PLAYGROUND UPGRADE,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-71090, AND APPROPRIATING $200,000 OF CORONAVIRUS STATE AND LOCAL FISCAL RECOVERY AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN (ARP) DISTRICT 4 FUNDING TO THE PROJECT WHEREAS, the City Council desires to replace the existing playground at Jaycee Park with new all-abilities playground equipment and new rubberized surfacing (Project); and WHEREAS, $200,000 of Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery American Rescue Plan (ARP) District 4 funds are available to fund the Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by creating a new CIP project, “District 4 – Jaycee Park Playground Upgrade,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71090.
SECTION 2. The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by appropriating $200,000 of Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery American Rescue Plan (ARP) District 4 funds (428-2590-80881-71090 and 428-2590-66196-71090) to “District 4 – Jaycee Park Playground Upgrade,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71090.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
