RESOLUTION NO. 2023-122 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, TO AMEND THE FY 2023-24 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY CREATING A NEW PARTIALLY FUNDED CIP PROJECT, “PHILLIPS RANCH EXERCISE PAR COURSE RESTORATION,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-71093, AND APPROPRIATING $59,000 OF CORONAVIRUS STATE AND LOCAL FISCAL RECOVERY AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN (ARP) DISTRICT 5 FUNDING TO THE PROJECT WHEREAS, the City Council desires to restore and/or replace the existing exercise equipment and surfacing along the greenbelt and other areas within the Phillips Ranch Assessment District; and WHEREAS, $59,000 of Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery American Rescue Plan (ARP) District 5 funds are available to fund the Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by creating a new CIP project, “Phillips Ranch Exercise Par Course Restoration,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71093.
SECTION 2. The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by appropriating $59,000 of Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery American Rescue Plan (ARP) District 5 funds (428-2590-80881-71093 and 428-2590-66196-71093) to “Phillips Ranch Exercise Par Course Restoration,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71093.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
