A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, Amending the FY 2023-24 OPERATING BUDGET BY INCREASING APPROPRIATIONS FOR GENERAL FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,311,121, THE TRAFFIC OFFENDER FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $67,553, AND THE miscellaneous GRANTS FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $96,027 WHEREAS, a fiscal review is a prudent method to ensure that the City maintains a healthy financial structure; WHEREAS, the City routinely adjusts fiscal year revenue estimates and appropriations throughout the fiscal year; WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the FY 2023-24 Operating Budget, Housing Authority Budget, and the Five-Year Capital Improvement Program on June 5, 2023 and all appropriations for departments or major organizational units within the General Fund and all operating funds were approved; .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona, California, as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council amends the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 City Operating Budget for the General Fund, Traffic Offender Fund, and Miscellaneous Grants Fund as follows:
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify the passage and adoption of this resolution, and it shall thereupon be in full force and effect.
