RESOLUTION NO. 2023-131
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2023-24 OPERATING BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING $600,000 FROM THE AVAILABLE PROPOSITION A FUND RESERVES: $100,000 FOR CONTROLLABLE CONTRACT SERVICES RELATED TO RIGHT OF ENTRY AGREEMENT, $470,000 FOR VANDALISM REPAIRS, AND $30,000 FOR ADDITIONAL PRESSURE WASHING SERVICES AT THE POMONA TRANSIT CENTER WHEREAS, pursuant to the Pomona City Charter, amendments to the Adopted FY 2023-24 Operating Budget requires approval by City Council by Resolution; and WHEREAS, as allowed by the City’s Charter, the recommended actions will authorize the appropriation of $600,000 from available Prop A fund reserves, of which $100,000 will go into Controllable Contract Services related to a Right of Entry Agreement with Union Pacific Railroad Company, $470,000 will address defacement at the transit center, and $30,000 will be utilized for additional pressure washing services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the Fiscal Year 2023-24 Operating Budget by appropriating available Proposition A fund balance in the following amounts: $100,000 from to account 216-2506-52285-00000, $470,000 to account 216-2506-52173-00000, and $30,000 to account 216-2506-52649-00000.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
