RESOLUTION NO. 2023-139
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR (FY) 2023-24 CITY OPERATING BUDGET TO INCREASE REVENUE ESTIMATES BY $1,334,380 AND APPROPRIATIONS BY $1,002,867 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Community Development Block Grant Corona Virus (CDBG-CV), EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANT CORONA VIRUS (ESG-CV) and permanent local housing allocation (phla) funds WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to amend the (FY) 2023-24 Adopted Operating Budget for various grant funds and projects; and WHEREAS, the City Council must find that under the Federal guidelines established by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the State of California by the California Department of Housing Development, the proposed changes are eligible uses of CDBG and CDBG-CV funds and will serve low- to moderate-income persons and/or areas; and WHEREAS, based on the foregoing, the City Council desires to allocate the unexpended funds to eligible projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Pomona, as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the (FY) 2023-24 Operating Budget to increase revenue estimates and appropriate funding as follows:

SECTION 2. That, upon finding under the Federal guidelines established by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the proposed changes are eligible uses of CDBG and CDBG-CV funds and will serve low to moderate income persons.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall attest to the passage of this resolution and it shall thereupon be in full force and effect upon its adoption.
