RESOLUTION NO. 2023-147
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, amending the FIscal YEAR 2023-24 capital improvement program (CIP) budget by unappropriating $158,000 of general funds from “STORM WATER LIFT STATIONS REHABILITATION,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-81056, appropriating $158,000 of general fund BALANCE to general services DEPARTMENT (101-0101-52285-00000), appropriating $158,000 OF CORONAVIRUS STATE AND LOCAL FISCAL RECOVERY AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN (ARP) (D1) FUNDING TO THE PROJECT, AND CHANGING THE CIP PROJECT DESCRIPTION WHEREAS, the City Council is prescribed the authority by Charter of the City of Pomona to adopt and amend the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budgets; WHEREAS, the 2023-24 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Budget for “Storm Water Lift Stations Rehabilitation,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-81056, is currently funded in the total amount of $1,375,000 with Safe Clean Water Program (Measure W), General Fund and Series “BG (AU)” Bond Proceeds; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by un-appropriating $158,000 of General Fund Funds from “Storm Water Lift Stations Rehabilitation,” and replacing with $158,000 of American Rescue Plan (ARP) (D1) Funds to “Storm Water Lift Stations Rehabilitation,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-81056.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by:
Un-Appropriating $158,000 of General Fund (101-2590-89987-81056 CR; 428-2590-80701-81056 DR) from “Storm Water Lift Stations Rehabilitation,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-81056 ; and Appropriating $158,000 of General Fund balance to General Services, fund 101-0101 (101-010152285-00000); and Appropriating $158,000 of American Rescue Plan (ARP) (D1) Fund to “Storm Water Lift Stations Rehabilitation,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXX-81056 (428-2590-80881-81056).
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby approves the updated CIP Project description for the “Storm Water Lift Stations Rehabilitation,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-81056, as found in Attachment Number 2.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
