THIS IS A 10-DAY NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING AND NOTICE OF A 15-DAY PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD FOR THE CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL
PERFORMANCE EVALUATION REPORT (CAPER) COVERING
FISCAL YEAR 2022-2023
Notice is hereby given that the City of Pomona ’s Neighborhood Services Department has completed the Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER) for fiscal year 2022-2023, which covers J uly 1, 20 22 through June 30, 20 23. The CAPER outlines the City’s overall use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership Act (HOME) and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funds received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urb an Development (HUD) to meet housing and community development needs outlined in the Consolidated Plan. The City’s overall objective in the CDBG and HOME programs are the development of viable communities by providing decent housing, a suitable living envi ronment and expansion of economic opportunities primarily for low to moderate-income persons. The overall objective of the ESG program is to provide shelter, essential services and homeless prevention services to the homeless.
All persons interested in reviewing the DRAFT CAPER may inspect copies online by following the link at
https://www.pomonaca.gov/government/departments/neighborhood- services/housing-services/community-development-block-grant-unit-cdbg/cdbg- consolidated-annual-performance-evaluation-report-caper beginning Friday, August 25 , 2023 through Monday, September 11, 202 3 and during the following hours: Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 5 :30 p.m. at the Neighborhood Services Department – Housing Division counter located on the 1st floor of City Hall.
All persons interested in commenting on the DRAFT CAPER are invited to attend a public hearing on Monday, September 11, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. to be held in the City Council Chambers. Chambers is accessible to the disabled, i n compliance with the Citizen Participation Plan and the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), if you require special assistance; please contact Isabel Abundis at (909) 620-3772 at least 72 hours prior to the meeting to ensure that the City can work with you to make reasonable accommodations.
