RESOLUTION NO. 2023-166
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, TO AMEND THE FY 2023-24 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING $37,138 OF DISTRICT 1 CIP CARRYOVER DISCRETIONARY FUNDS TO “HAMILTON PARK RENOVATION,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-71070 WHEREAS, the City Council desires to make improvements to the sidewalks surrounding Hamilton Park and provide new crosswalk improvements on Hamilton Boulevard at the Monterey Avenue intersection (Project); and WHEREAS, “Hamilton Park Renovation,” Project no. 428-2590-XXXXX-71070 is funded entirely by grant funding that must only be used within the park boundaries; and WHEREAS, $37,138 of District 1 CIP Carryover Discretionary Funds are available to fund the Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by appropriating $37,138 of District 1 CIP Carryover Discretionary Funds (418-1302-89987-72101, 428-2590-80721-71070 and 428-2590-66196-71070) to “Hamilton Park Renovation,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71070.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
