RESOLUTION NO. 2023-158
A Resolution OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, california, AMENDING THE FY 2023-24 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING $250,000 OF GENERAL FUND RESERVES TO “TRAFFIC SIGNAL MODIFICATION PROJECT – TOWNE AVENUE AND BONITA AVENUE,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-68580 WHEREAS, the City Council desires to improve the intersection of Towne Avenue and Bonita Avenue by modifying the traffic signal to include left-turn arrows for all directions, LED countdown pedestrian displays, new controller upgrades, underground conduit upgrades, battery backup systems, and LED lighting retrofits; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the FY 2023-24 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Budget by appropriating $250,000 of the General Fund Reserves to the “Traffic Signal Modification Project – Towne Avenue and Bonita Avenue,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-68580.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by appropriating $250,000 of the General Fund Reserves to the “Traffic Signal Modification Project – Towne Avenue and Bonita Avenue,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-68580 (101-2590-89987-68580; 428-2590-80701-68580; 428-2590-66196-68580).
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
