Joining with Kim Johnson on Columbia St., I (Marla Neighbour), will be purchasing lights, blow-ups, and holiday yard decor for those most in need of it on Randolph between Wisconsin and White Ave. Depending on funds received, I would also have enough to share supplies with the Randolph neighbors between Wisconsin and Park. I would inventory, track, collect and store the supplies so they can be used each year. I have several neighbors ready to join in and support. The goal is community. * What is the benefit to the City of Pomona? (An expenditure of public funds must be for primary benefit of the public agency that is making the expenditure)
Christmas on Columbia has drawn in a large number of people both from Pomona and beyond as a meaningful experience with friends and family to walk the street with the holiday lights. Now with Rudolph on Randolph, and Winter on Wisconsin joining them, it will be an even greater benefit to the city, as well as to Wilton Heights as we work side-by-side with our neighbors to create something beautiful together. Every event that elevates Pomona's name and reputation for community is a win.
