RESOLUTION NO. 2023-183
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING AUTHORIZED STAFFING LEVELS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2023-24 OPERATING BUDGET RELATED TO POSITIONS IN THE ADMINISTRATION, CITY CLERK, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, HUMAN RESOURCES, AND COMMUNITY SERVICE DEPARTMENTS WHEREAS, on June 5, 2023, the City Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2023-24 Operating Budget, which includes authorized staffing levels citywide; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the Fiscal Year 2023-24 authorized staffing levels to better reflect department operational needs, as provided herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona, California, as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby amends the City’s Fiscal Year 2023-24 authorized staffing levels as follows:
SECTION 2. Create the Community Services Department, formerly a division under the Neighborhood Services Department.
SECTION 3. The actions approved herein shall become effective October 22, 2023.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
