A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2023-2024 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING $235,000 OF SAFE CLEAN WATER PROGRAM (MEASURE W) FUND RESERVES TO THE “STORMWATER MASTER PLAN,” PROJECT NO. 421-2590-XXXXX-81053 WHEREAS, in November 2018, Measure W (Safe Clean Water Program) was approved by Los Angeles County voters to improve water quality in a manner that achieves additional benefits such as increasing water supply and investing in the health and well-being of Los Angeles County communities; WHEREAS, the City Council has prescribed the authority by Charter of the City of Pomona to adopt and amend the CIP budgets; WHEREAS, on June 7, 2021, City Council adopted Resolution No. 2021-71 to receive and appropriate funds from the LA County Safe Clean Water Program per the terms and conditions of the Safe Clean Water funding agreement, and transfer to the CIP project “Drainage Master Plan,” (Now “Stormwater Master Plan”); and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the FY 2023-2024 CIP budget by appropriating $235,000 from Los Angeles County Flood Control District’s Safe Clean Water-Regional Program (Measure W Tax Revenue) to the “Stormwater Master Plan,” Project No. 421-2590-XXXXX-81053.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP budget by appropriating $235,000 of Safe Clean Water Program Funds (Measure W Tax Proceeds) to the “Stormwater Master Plan,” Project No. 421-2590-XXXXX-81053 (142-2590-89963-81053, 421-2590-80708-81053, 421-2590-66196-81053), leaving the project fully funded.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
