Hello Andy,
This email is regarding your Major Certificate of Appropriateness (Major COA) request for the window replacements to vinyl windows for the property located at 607 N. Gibbs St., Pomona.
This email is a courtesy notification to let you know that similar requests have gone to the Commission in recent months and all have been denied. Decisions of the Historic Preservation Commission can be appealed to the City Council; there is an associated fee of $928.33. There is no guarantee of approval at City Council just as with the Historic Preservation Commission (HPC).
Because recent HPC decisions make approval of your project less likely, you may withdraw your application now before further staff review if you choose. We will provide you with a full refund.

If you withdraw your application, new windows must be wood to match the existing and historic windows.
