RESOLUTION NO. 2023-226
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, TO AMEND THE FY 2023-24 VEHICLE PARKING DISTRICT CONTRACT SWEEPING BUDGET ACCOUNT NUMBER 230-9200-52934-00000 BY APPROPRIATING $76,800 FROM THE FUND RESERVES TO COVER THE ADDITIONAL COST OF SERVICES UNDER A NEW CONTRACT WITH THE DOWNTOWN POMONA OWNERS ASSOCIATION WHEREAS, the City of Pomona (“City”) desires to enter into a new three year contract with two optional annual renewals for Vehicle Parking District parking lot sweeping with the Downtown Pomona Owners Association; and WHEREAS, the FY 2023-24 Vehicle Parking District Contract Sweeping budget has insufficient fund to cover the additional cost of services ; and WHEREAS, the Vehicle Parking District currently has sufficient reserves to appropriate $76,800 towards the FY 2023-24 Vehicle Parking District Contract Sweeping budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY FIND DECLARE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 Vehicle Parking District Contract Sweeping budget (230-9200-52934-00000) by appropriating an additional $76,800 from the fund balance reserves.
SECTION 2. By appropriating $76,800 to the current FY 2023-24 Vehicle Parking District Contract Sweeping account a total of $118,800 will be available to pay for the new annual contract cost of parking lot sweeping.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
