Funds, it awarded would be utilized to purchase gift cards in $20.00 amounts at Target or Walmart as toy prices would allow funds to go further. Cards will be given out to pantry clients on December 13th at Charisma Life Church during our food and holiday distribution. * What is the benefit to the City of Pomona? This is a drive thru event and based upon prior years attendance we expect to serve 500-700 vehicles and to serve up to 5,000 people household. it is our goal to provide the first 200 people with gift cards for the purchase of toys for local kids. Also, this event will provide turkeys, hams and several weeks worth of food for the community.

The free event is an opportunity for community members to gather, learn, connect, and heal through awareness around healthy soils, regenerative farming, composting, and sharing nutritious food. This is an opportunity to learn in a creative, engaging, accessible way with Spanish language interpretation.

The funding will be used to fix the scoreboard on the baseball field. It’s been an ask of the many parents who participate in our league. It will provide a sense of pride in our community seeing that the youth who participate in our league can get the same experience as surrounding cities. It will bring another level of excitement to all visitors during our games providing a fun environment.
