RESOLUTION NO. 2023-231
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CA AMENDING THE FY 2023-24 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY UNAPPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM VARIOUS PROJECTS AS INDICATED IN ATTACHMENT NO. 1 – EXHIBIT 1 TO RESOLUTION AND APPROPRIATING THESE FUNDS TO “POMONA MULTI-NEIGHBORHOOD PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLE IMPROVEMENTS,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-67930; AND BY ACCEPTING, INCREASING REVENUE ESTIMATES, AND APPROPRIATING $8,534,000 OF ATP CYCLE 4 GRANT FUNDS TO “POMONA MULTI-NEIGHBORHOOD PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLE IMPROVEMENTS,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-67930 WHEREAS, the “Pomona Multi-Neighborhood Pedestrian and Bicycle Improvements,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-67930 requires additional funding for construction improvements; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the FY 23-24 CIP Budget by accepting, increasing revenue estimates, and appropriating $8,534,000 of ATP Cycle 4 Grant funds to “Pomona Multi-Neighborhood Pedestrian and Bicycle Improvements,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-67930 to partially fund the project; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the FY 23-24 CIP Budget by unappropriating and appropriating various other funds totaling $2,393,825 as detailed in Attachment 1 - Exhibit 1 to Resolution to “Pomona Multi-Neighborhood Pedestrian and Bicycle Improvements,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-67930 to sufficiently fund the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by accepting, increasing revenue estimates, and appropriating $8,534,000 of ATP Cycle 4 Grant Funds to “Pomona Multi-Neighborhood Pedestrian and Bicycle Improvements,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-67930 (428-2590-66196-67930; 428-2590-40875-67930).
SECTION 2. That the City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by unappropriating $893,825 of General Purpose Funds, $850,000 of Measure R Funds, $150,000 of Measure M Funds, and $500,000 of Prop C Funds from various projects as listed in Exhibit 1 to Resolution, and appropriating these funds to “Pomona Multi-Neighborhood Pedestrian and Bicycle Improvements,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-67930.
SECTION 6. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
