RESOLUTION NO. 2023-249
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING TRACT MAP TM NO. 83362 FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 650 W. GRAND AVENUE, ASSESSOR PARCEL NUMBER 8343-005-019 WHEREAS, on October 27, 2021, the Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 21-033 approving Tentative Tract Map TRACTMAP 12535-2019, TM No. 83362 for a residential subdivision consisting of nine condominium units at 650 W. Grand Avenue, APN 8343-005-019; and WHEREAS, on October 25, 2023, the Planning Commission approved Time Extension EXT-22374-2023 and extended the Tentative Tract Map expiration date to October 27, 2024; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the Guidelines for Implementation of the Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the proposed activity of land subdivision is covered by the common sense exemption (Sec. 15061 (b)(3)), in that CEQA applies only to projects which have the potential for causing a significant effect on the environment. Where it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the activity in question may have a significant effect on the environment, the activity is not subject to CEQA. Therefore, no additional environmental review is required; and WHEREAS, Tritech Engineering Associates, Inc., applicant on behalf of SLR Investment, LLC, landowner, has submitted Tract Map TM No. 83362 for the property located at 650 W. Grand Avenue, Pomona, CA, to the Public Works Department-Engineering Division for review and approval; and WHEREAS, all conditions of approval related to Tentative Tract Map TRACTMAP 12535-2019 and TM No. 83362 have been met.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The foregoing recitals are true and correct.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby finds, based on the evidence submitted, that the Tract Map TM No. 83362 for property located at 650 W. Grand Avenue is hereby approved, as depicted in EXHIBIT “A” of this Resolution.
SECTION 3. The City Council hereby authorizes the City Engineer to sign the Tract Map TM No. 83362 on behalf of the City.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
