RESOLUTION NO. 2024-20
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PARCEL MAP PM 83364 FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1555-1561 VIA ESTRELLA, POMONA, CA, ASSESSOR PARCEL NUMBER 8360-015-035 WHEREAS, on January 12, 2022, the Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 22-002, approving Tentative Parcel Map PARCELMAP 15780-2021, PM No. 83364, related to the consolidation of four residential lots associated with APN 8360-015-035 and the subsequent subdivision into two new parcels at 1555-1561 Via Estrella; and WHEREAS, on January 24, 2024, the Planning Commission approved Time Extension EXT-22971-2023 and extended the Tentative Parcel Map expiration date to January 12, 2025; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), an Initial Study was prepared consistent with CEQA Section 15070 to assess the potential effects of this project on the environment. The Initial Study determined that all potential environmental effects could be reduced to less than significant levels with the incorporation of appropriate mitigation measures. All potentially significant environmental impacts from the implementation of the proposed project have been identified in the Mitigated Negative Declaration and with the application of the mitigation measures set forth in the Mitigation, Monitoring and Reporting Program, the project impacts will be mitigated to a less-than-significant level; and WHEREAS, Khalil Tali Hamideh, applicant on behalf of Ecoprana Investments, LLC, landowner, has submitted Parcel Map PM No. 83364 for the property located at 1555-1561 Via Estrella, Pomona, CA, to the Public Works Department-Engineering Division for review and approval; and WHEREAS, all conditions of approval related to Tentative Parcel Map PARCELMAP 15780-2021 and PM No. 83364 have been met.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The foregoing recitals are true and correct.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby finds, based on the evidence submitted, that the Parcel Map PM No. 83364 for property located at 1555-1561 Via Estrella is hereby approved, as depicted in EXHIBIT “A” of this Resolution.
SECTION 3. The City Council hereby authorizes the City Engineer to sign the Parcel Map PM No. 83364 on behalf of the City.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
