RESOLUTION NO. 2024-30
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING APPENDIX A OF THE COMPENSATION PLAN FOR EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT GROUP A & B EMPLOYEES TO ADD THE DEPUTY DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DIRECTOR CLASSIFICATION AND ADJUST THE SALARY FOR THE ASSISTANT TO THE CITY MANAGER CLASSIFICATION WHEREAS, the City Council has the authority to create, classify and assign salary scales/ranges to the Compensation Plan for Executive Management Group A and B Employees (A-B Plan) of the City of Pomona; WHEREAS, the City Council has the authority to amend the staffing allocations; WHEREAS, on November 6, 2023, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2023-219 amending the A-B Rules; WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend Appendix A of the aforementioned A-B Rules by adding the Deputy Development Services Director classification and adjusting the salary range for the Assistant to the City Manager classification.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council hereby authorizes changes made to Appendix A of the A-B Plan as shown below:

SECTION 2. That any portion of previously adopted resolutions concerning salaries inconsistent with this Resolution shall be deemed repealed.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and it shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
