RESOLUTION NO. 2024-34
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, TO AMEND THE FY 2023-24 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY CREATING A NEW CIP PROJECT, “MEADOW VIEW DEMONSTRATION GARDEN,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-71200, AND APPROPRIATING $300,000 OF DISTRICT 5 CORONAVIRUS STATE AND LOCAL FISCAL RECOVERY AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN (ARP) AND $100,000 OF MAYORAL ARP FUNDING TO THE PROJECT WHEREAS, the City Council desires to develop the vacant residential lots along Meadow View Drive as a demonstration garden; and WHEREAS, a total of $400,000 of Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery American Rescue Plan (ARP) funds are available to fund the Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by creating a new CIP project, “Meadow View Demonstration Garden,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71200.
SECTION 2. The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by appropriating $300,000 of District 5 ARP funds (191-0205-89987-71200; 428-2590-80881-71200 and 428-2590-66196-71200) to “Meadow View Demonstration Garden,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71200.
SECTION 3 The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by appropriating $100,000 of Mayoral ARP funds (191-0207-89987-71200; 428-2590-80881-71200 and 428-2590-66196-71200) to “Meadow View Demonstration Garden,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71200.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
