RESOLUTION NO. 2024-36
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2023-24 OPERATING AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGETS BY CREATING A NEW CIP PROJECT, “HVAC REPLACEMENT AT COMMUNITY CENTERS,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-71100 AND APPROPRIATING $90,000 OF GENERAL FUND HOURLY SAVINGS TO THE PROJECT WHEREAS, the City Council desires to create a new CIP project to provide for the replacement of HVAC systems and/or various HVAC components at community centers Citywide, as funding allows; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to utilize General fund hourly savings to provide funding for the Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Budget by creating a new project, “HVAC Replacement at Community Centers,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71100 (Project).
SECTION 2. The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 Operating Budget by unappropriating $60,000 of General Fund hourly savings (101-4110-89987-71100) and amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by appropriating $60,000 of available General fund hourly savings (101-2590-89987-71100, 428-2590-80701-71100, 428-2590-66196-71100) to “HVAC Replacement at Community Centers,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71100.
SECTION 3. The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 Operating Budget by unappropriating $30,000 of General Fund hourly savings (101-4201-89987-71100) and amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by appropriating $30,000 of available General fund hourly savings (101-2590-89987-71100, 428-2590-80701-71100, 428-2590-66196-71100) to “HVAC Replacement at Community Centers,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71100.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
