RESOLUTION NO. 2024-54
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, TO AMEND THE FY 2023-24 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) Budget by unappropriating $35,000 of district 3 CIP CARRYOVER DISCRETIONARY FUNDS FROM “New PLayground at washington park baseball fieldS,” project no. 428-2590-xxxxx-71094 AND APPROPRIATING THIS AND $50,000 of mayoral CORONAVIRUS STATE AND LOCAL FISCAL RECOVERY American rescue plan (ARP) funding and $50,000 of district 3 arp funding to “WASHINGTON PARK COMMUNITY CENTER REHABILITATION,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-71095 WHEREAS, the City desires to add additional funding to “Washington Park Community Center Rehabilitation,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71095.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by releasing/unappropriating $35,000 of District 3 CIP Carryover Discretionary Funding from “New Playground at Washington Park Baseball Fields,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71094 (428-2590-80721-71094 DR and 428-2590-66196-71094 CR).
SECTION 2. The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by appropriating $35,000 of District 3 CIP Carryover Discretionary Funds (428-2590-80721-71095 CR and 428-2590-66196-71095 DR) to “Washington Park Community Center Rehabilitation,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71095.
SECTION 3. The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by appropriating $50,000 of Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery American Rescue Plan (ARP) (Mayoral) funds (191-0207-89987-71095, 428-2590-80881-71095 and 428-2590-66196-71095) to “Washington Park Community Center Rehabilitation,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71095.
SECTION 4. The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by appropriating $50,000 of ARP (District 3) funds (191-0203-89987-71095, 428-2590-80881-71095 and 428-2590-66196-71095) to “Washington Park Community Center Rehabilitation,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71095.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
