A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2023-24 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY CREATING A NEW PROJECT, “RENOVATION OF LA CASITA TEEN CENTER AT PALOMARES PARK,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-71110 AND ACCEPTING, INCREASING REVENUE ESTIMATES, AND APPROPRIATING $4,000,000 OF DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE FISCAL YEAR 2023 COMMUNITY PROJECT FUNDING (CPF) TO THE PROJECT WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to provide for the renovation of the La Casita Teen Center at Palomares Park by amending the FY 2023-24 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Budget by creating a new project, “Renovation of La Casita Teen Center at Palomares Park,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71110 and appropriating sufficient funding for the Project; and WHEREAS, the City received a $4,000,000 grant from the Department of Housing and Urban Development Economic Development Initiative Fiscal Year 2023 Community Project Funding (CPF) Program to provide funding for the Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by accepting, increasing revenue estimates, and appropriating $4,000,000 of Department of Housing and Urban Development Economic Development Initiative Fiscal Year 2023 Community Project Funding (CPF) to “Renovation of La Casita Teen Center at Palomares Park” (428-2590-40850-71110 and 428-2590-66196-71110).
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
