RESOLUTION NO. 2024-58
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, TO AMEND THE FY 2023-24 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY CREATING A NEW CIP PROJECT, “GARFIELD PARK RENOVATION,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-71111 AND APPROPRIATING $50,000 OF CANNABIS COMMUNITY BENEFIT FUNDING (CATALYST) TO THE PROJECT WHEREAS, the City Council desires to provide funding for the renovation of Garfield Park; and WHEREAS, $50,000 of Cannabis Community Benefit Funds (Catalyst) are available to initially fund the Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by creating a new CIP project, “Garfield Park Renovation,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71111.
SECTION 2. The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by appropriating $50,000 of Cannabis Community Benefit Funding (Catalyst) (144-2590-89987-51360, 428-2590-80885-71111 and 428-2590-66196-71111) to “Garfield Park Renovation,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71111.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
