RESOLUTION NO. 2024-56
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, TO AMEND THE FY 2023-24 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY UNAPPROPRIATING $5,067 OF MEASURE M FUNDS FROM “MAJOR STREET REHABILITATION - 2015 METRO CALL,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-67918, $55,627 OF SB-1/RMRA FUNDS FROM “STREET PRESERVATION – LOCAL CITYWIDE (FY 19-20),” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-68561, AND $79,107 OF MEASURE M FUNDS FROM “MISSION BOULEVARD REHABILITATION – WHITE AVENUE TO TOWNE AVENUE,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-68574, AND APPROPRIATE THESE FUNDS TO “STREET PRESERVATION - LOCAL (FY 23-24),” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-68592, AMEND THE PROJECT DESCRIPTION TO INCLUDE WALNUT AVENUE, AND APPROVE THE AGREEMENT WITH CITY OF CHINO IN AN AMOUNT NOT-TO-EXCEED $139,801 WHEREAS, the City desires to approve an agreement with City of Chino in an amount not-to-exceed $139,801 to perform street improvements on Walnut Avenue from Reservoir Street to the easterly City limits; and WHEREAS, the City desires to appropriate available funding to “Street Preservation - Local (FY 23-24),” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-68592 to fund the payment to City of Chino for repaving Walnut Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by unappropriating $5,067 of Measure M funding from “Major Street Rehabilitation – 2015 Metro Call,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-67918 (138-2590-89987-67918 CR, 428-2590-80878-67918 DR and 428-2590-66196-67918).
SECTION 2. The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by unappropriating $55,627 of SB-1/RMRA funding from “Street Preservation Local – Citywide (FY 19-20),” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-68561 (206-2590-89987-68561 CR, 428-2590-80698-68561 DR and 428-2590-66196-68561).
SECTION 3. The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by unappropriating $79,107 of Measure M funding from “Mission Boulevard Rehabilitation – White Avenue to Towne Avenue,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-68574 (138-2590-89987-68574 CR, 428-2590-80878-68574 and 428-2590-66196-68574).
SECTION 4. The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by appropriating a total of $139,801, including $84,174 of available Measure M funding (138-2590-89987-68592, 428-2590-80878-68592, 428-2590-66196-68592) and $55,627 of available SB-1/RMRA funding (206-2590-89987-68592, 428-2590-80698-68592, 428-2590-66196-68592) to “Street Preservation - Local (FY 23-24),” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-68592 to fund the payment to City of Chino for repaving Walnut Avenue.
SECTION 5. The project description for “Street Preservation - Local (FY 23-24),” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-68592 is modified to include Walnut Avenue in Pomona and approves the agreement with the City of Chino to pay an amount not to exceed $139,801.
SECTION 6. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
