DISCUSSION:

The City of Chino is preparing for a street improvement project that will repave Walnut Avenue from their easterly City boundary to San Antonio Creek (shared city boundary). On March 19, 2024, the City of Chino contacted the City of Pomona Public Works Department to collaborate on their project to extend the paving limits from San Antonio Creek to Reservoir Street in the City of Pomona.

The Project is one component of a long-term effort by both Cities to improve the street conditions on Walnut Avenue. If approved by City Council, this work is expected to be completed by summer 2024.
