RESOLUTION NO. 92- 141
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA
APPROVING AMENDMENT TO PRECISE ALIGNMENT NO. 9 PA 92- 001
TO ALLOW DELETION OF HILLMAN AVENUE AT PROPERTY LOCATED NORTH
OF FERNLEAF AVENUE, SOUTH OF GRAND AVENUE, EAST OF BUENA VISTA
AVENUE, AND WEST OF HAMILTON BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, there has heretofore been submitted by Samarin Con- struction proposed Amendment to Precise Alignment No. 9 PA 92- 001 to allow deletion of a proposed street, pursuant to Appendix II, section
7. 6 of the City of Pomona Code; also known as Hillman Avenue in the R- 2- S ( Low Density Supplemental) zone.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to the Guidelines for Implementation of the California Environmental Quality Act, a Negative Declaration has been prepared and reviewed finding that the proposed amendment will not have a significant effect on the environment. The City council hereby approves said Negative Declarations.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the proposed use is consistent with the Circulation Element of the General Plan and the Master Plan of Principal Streets and Highways, in that the development of the cul- de- sac would allow a safe, efficient and coherent system of circulation along Preston Court.
SECTION 3. Precise Alignment Amendment PA 92- 001, as submit- ted heretofore, is hereby approved.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution and it shall thereupon take effect and be in force.
