RESOLUTION NO. 2024-71
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, TO AMEND THE FY 2023-24 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) Budget by closing completed projects, releasing $522,733 OF UNEXPENDED FUNDS, REAPPROPRIATING $263,834 OF THOSE FUNDS, and changing the TITLE AND description of “new emergency operations center – white avenue” to “fire station 182 improvements and new emergency operations center – white avenue,” project no. 428-2590-xxxxx-71068 WHEREAS, the projects listed in the attached “Exhibit A, Section 1” are included in the FY 2023-24 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budget; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to close nine (9) completed CIP Projects and release the unexpended funds totaling $522,733, and reappropriate some of these funds, as detailed in the attached “Exhibit A,” and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to change the title and description of “New Emergency Operations Center – White Avenue,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71068 to “Fire Station 182 Improvements and New Emergency Operations Center – White Avenue,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71068 and update the description as depicted in Attachment No. 2.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by closing the nine (9) CIP Projects, as listed in “Exhibit A, Section 1,” attached hereto, and releasing/unappropriating $522,733 of unexpended funds and reappropriating $263,834 of funding as detailed in “Exhibit A, Section 2.
SECTION 2. That the City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by changing the title of “New Emergency Operations Center – White Avenue” to “Fire Station 182 Improvements and New Emergency Operations Center – White Avenue,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71068 and changing the description as depicted in Attachment No. 2.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
