RESOLUTION NO. 2024-95
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2023-24 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY CREATING A NEW PROJECT, “NEW FLOORING AT GARFIELD PARK COMMUNITY CENTER,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-71103 AND APPROPRIATING $40,000 OF CORONAVIRUS STATE AND LOCAL FISCAL RECOVERY AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN (ARP) DISTRICT 4 FUNDING TO THE PROJECT WHEREAS, the City Council desires to create a new project, “New Flooring at Garfield Park Community Center,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71103, to provide for new flooring at the Garfield Park Community Center; and WHEREAS, $40,000 of additional Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery American Rescue Plan (ARP) District 4 funds are available to fund the Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by creating a new project, “New Flooring at Garfield Park Community Center,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71103.
SECTION 2. The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by appropriating $40,000 of Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery American Rescue Plan (ARP) District 4 funds (191-0204-89987-71103, 428-2590-80881-71103 and 428-2590-66196-71103) to “New Flooring at Garfield Park Community Center,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71103.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
