RESOLUTION NO. 2024-92
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2023-24 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) Budget BY un-appropriating funds IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,317,658, CLOSING tHREE (3) CIP PROJECTS, And appropriating $400,000 of unexpended Funds WHEREAS, the projects listed below are included in the adopted FY 2023-24 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budget; WHEREAS, the City Council desires to un-appropriate funds from four (4) CIP Projects, thereby, releasing funds totaling $1,317,658 to the original funding sources; WHEREAS, the City Council desires to close three (3) of the four (4) CIP Projects listed in Table 1 of Section 1 below, releasing the unexpended amount totaling $917,658; WHEREAS, $400,000 of Safe Clean Water proceeds is available to be appropriated into the “Landscape Improvements – Various Locations,” Project No. 428‐2590‐XXXXX‐81059; and, WHEREAS, the City Council desires to un-appropriate Water funds, Sewer funds, Safe Clean Water Program (Measure W) funds, and Bond Proceeds funds from four (4) CIP Projects thereby releasing funds totaling $1,317,658 to the original funding sources; and to appropriate $400,000 of Safe Clean Water funds, to CIP Project “Landscape Improvements – Various Locations,” Project No. 428‐2590‐XXXXX‐81059.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by closing three (3) CIP Projects, releasing/un-appropriating a total of $1,317,658 back to their respective fund balances, and appropriating a total of $400,000 of Measure W proceeds as follows:
