RESOLUTION NO. 2024-108
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2024-25 OPERATING BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING $250,000 FROM THE GENERAL FUND RESERVES FOR ABATEMENT ACTIVITIES AT PALM LAKE GOLF COURSE AND FOR THE PURCHASE OF A MOWER WHEREAS, pursuant to the Pomona City Charter, amendments to the Adopted FY 2024-25 Operating Budget requires approval of the City Council by Resolution; and WHEREAS, as allowed by the City’s Charter, the recommended actions will authorize the appropriation of $250,000 from available General Fund Reserves to pay for abatement activities at Palm Lake Golf Course, for the purchase of a mower to be used by staff at the site, and for other weed abatement activities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the Fiscal Year 2024-25 Operating Budget by appropriating $250,000 from the General Fund Reserves to be distributed to the following accounts:

SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
