RESOLUTION NO. 2024-109
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2024-25 OPERATING BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING $550,000 FROM THE REFUSE ADMINISTRATION FUND BALANCE TO ALLOW FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF ADDITIONAL NEW CITYWIDE STREET SWEEPING SIGNS WHEREAS, the Pomona City Charter requires that amendments to the Adopted FY 2024-25 Operating Budget be approved by City Council by Resolution; and WHEREAS, as allowed by the City’s Charter, the recommended actions will authorize the appropriation of $550,000 from the Refuse Administration Fund Balance to allow for the purchase and installation of additional new Citywide street sweeping signs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the Fiscal Year 2024-25 Operating Budget by appropriating $550,000 from the Refuse Administration Fund Balance to Fund 145-2520-52285-00000 for purchase of signs and 145-2505-51030-00000 for overtime costs.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
