RESOLUTION NO. 2024-99 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA RECEIVING A GRANT AWARD OF $6,300 FROM TRI-CITY MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES AND AMENDING THE FY 2024-25 OPERATING BUDGET BY INCREASING REVENUE ESTIMATES AND APPROPRIATING THE $6,300 IN AWARDED GRANT FUNDS WHEREAS, the City recognizes the importance and fostering wellness and strengthening the capacity of the community to increase social connection and mental wellbeing.
WHEREAS, the Heartful Hands proposal was selected by Tri-City Mental Health Services to receive grant funding for FY 2024-25 to dedicate its efforts to improving the wellbeing of youth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2024-25 Operating Budget by increasing revenue estimates and appropriating $6,300 in awarded grant funds (215-4190-40889/5xxxx-58797).
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
