RESOLUTION NO. 2024-146
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2024-25 OPERATING BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING $30,000 FROM THE REFUSE ADMINISTRATION FUND BALANCE TO ALLOW FOR A SOLID WASTE HOST FEE STUDY WHEREAS, the Pomona City Charter requires that amendments to the Adopted FY 2024-25 Operating Budget be approved by City Council by resolution; and WHEREAS, as allowed by the City’s Charter, the recommended actions will authorize the appropriation of $30,000 from the Refuse Administration fund balance to allow for the completion of a Solid Waste Host Fee Study.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the Fiscal Year 2024-25 Operating Budget by appropriating $30,000 from the Refuse Administration Fund Balance to Fund Fund 145-2505-52285-00000, Refuse Administration.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
