RESOLUTION NO. 2024-137
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA AMENDING THE FY 2024-25 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING $486,775 OF AVAILABLE AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN (ARP) FUNDS ALLOCATED FOR LIBRARY YOUTH COMMITMENT TO “POMONA LIBRARY FACILITY IMPROVEMENTS,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-74120 WHEREAS, the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget for “Pomona Library Facility Improvements,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-74120 requires additional funding for construction improvements; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the FY 2024-25 CIP Budget by appropriating $486,775 of American Rescue Plan (ARP) funding allocated for Library Youth Commitment to “Pomona Library Facility Improvements,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-74120.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2023-24 CIP Budget by appropriating an additional $486,775 of ARP funding allocated for Library Youth Commitment (191-4501-89987-74120; 428-2590-80881-74120 and 428-2590-66196-74120) to “Pomona Library Facility Improvements,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-74120.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
