RESOLUTION NO. 2024-157
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FY 2024-25 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY UNAPPROPRIATING $2,367,441 OF FUNDS FROM VARIOUS PROJECTS, AND APPROPRIATING THEM AND $2,300,000 OF AVAILABLE GENERAL FUND RESERVE FUNDS TO “CIVIC CENTER PLAZA – NEW PLAYGROUND AND AMENITIES,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-71063 WHEREAS, “Civic Center Plaza – New Playground and Amenities,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71063 (Project) requires additional funding to complete construction improvements; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to unappropriate funds from various existing CIP Projects totaling $2,367,441 and reappropriate these funds to the Project, as detailed in Attachment No. 2 “Exhibit ‘A’, Section 1”; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to appropriate $2,300,000 of available General Fund Reserve Funds and allocate them to the Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council amends the FY 2024-25 CIP Budget by unappropriating $2,367,441 of unexpended funds from various CIP Projects, as listed in “Exhibit A, Section 1,” attached hereto, and reappropriating these funds as detailed in “Exhibit A, Section 2, as well as appropriating $2,300,000 of available General Fund Reserve Funds, as detailed in “Exhibit A, Section 2, to “Civic Center Plaza – New Playground and Amenities,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71063, thereby increasing the total Project budget to $14,329,377.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
