RESOLUTION NO. 2024-112
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2024-25 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING $385,000 OF AVAILABLE FAIRPLEX MITIGATION FUNDS TO “TRAFFIC SIGNAL IMPROVEMENT – MCKINLEY AVENUE AND CANYON WAY,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-68587 WHEREAS, the City Council desires to install a new traffic signal at the intersection of McKinley Avenue and Canyon Way, as recommended by the Fairplex Mitigation Fund Advisory Committee, to mitigate traffic impacts on City streets resulting from large events at the Fairplex; and WHEREAS, $385,000 of Fairplex Mitigation funds are available to fully fund the Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2024-25 CIP Budget by appropriating $385,000 of Fairplex Mitigation Funds (195-2590-89987-68587, 428-2590-80723-68587 and 428-2590-66196-68587) to “Traffic Signal Improvement – McKinley Avenue and Canyon Way,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-68587.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
