RESOLUTION NO. 2024-55
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A DONATION OF 14 NEW TABLES AND 54 NEW CHAIRS FROM THE POMONA PUBLIC LIBRARY FOUNDATION, FOR USE IN THE LIBRARY PUBLIC MEETING ROOMS, DONATION TOTAL $12,088 WHEREAS, the Pomona Public Library Foundation wishes to donate furniture items to the Library valued at $12,088 for use within the multipurpose rooms and other common areas; and WHEREAS, In accordance with Sections 37354 & 37355 of the California Government Code, the City Council desires to accept donation of these items for public use within the Library and in benefit of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby accepts the furniture donation valued at $12,088 from the Pomona Public Library Foundation and thanks them for their continued support of the Library.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
