RESOLUTION NO. 2024-186
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FY 2024-25 OPERATING BUDGET BY INCREASING REVENUE ESTIMATES AND APPROPRIATIONS IN THE AMOUNT OF $37, 500 FOR POLICE RADIOS WHEREAS, the Police Department has been awarded a sub-recipient 2023 State Homeland Security Grant Program (SHSGP) in the amount of $37,500; and WHEREAS, a Sub-Recipient Agreement with Los Angeles County is needed to purchase Police handheld radio equipment for the Pomona Police Department; WHEREAS the authority to amend the FY 2024-25 Operating budget in the amount of $37,500 and accept grant funding award is vested with the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council hereby amends the FY 2024-25 Operating Budget by increasing revenue estimates (263-2090-40875-58804) and a corresponding appropriations (263-2090-66189-58804) in the amount of $37,500 SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
