RESOLUTION NO. 2025-14
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, TO AMEND THE FY 2024-25 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY INCREASING REVENUE ESTIMATES FOR LOS ANGELES COUNTY REGIONAL PARK AND OPEN SPACE DISTRICT MEASURE A FUNDING BY $632,430 AND APPROPRIATING $501,096 OF MEASURE A ANNUAL ALLOCATIONS TO “CIVIC CENTER PLAZA – NEW PLAYGROUND AND AMENITIES,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-71063; AND APPROPRIATING AN ADDITIONAL $131,334 OF MEASURE A ANNUAL ALLOCATIONS TO “MEASURE A PARK IMPROVEMENTS – CITYWIDE,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-71080 WHEREAS, “Civic Center Plaza – New Playground and Amenities,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71063 (Project) requires additional funding to complete construction improvements; and WHEREAS, an additional $632,430 is available for appropriation, as part of the City’s receipt of annual allocation funding from RPOSD Measure A to be appropriated to “Civic Center Plaza – New Playground and Amenities,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71063 and to “Measure A Park Improvements – Citywide,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71080.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2024-25 CIP Budget by increasing revenue estimates and appropriating $501,096 of RPOSD Measure A funds (Revenue - 428-2590-40906-71063 and Expenditure - 428-2590-66196-71063) to “Civic Center Plaza – New Playground and Amenities,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71063.
SECTION 3. The City Council hereby amends the FY 2024-25 CIP Budget by increasing revenue estimates and appropriating $131,334 of RPOSD Measure A Annual Allocations to “Measure A Park Improvements – Citywide,” (Revenue - 428-2590-40906-71080 and Expenditure - 428-2590-66196-71080).
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
