RESOLUTION NO. 2025-07
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, TO AMEND THE FY 2024-25 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY CREATING A NEW PROJECT, “WESTMONT PARK SOFTBALL FIELD REHABILITATION,” PROJECT NO. 428-2590-XXXXX-71120 AND APPROPRIATING $40,000 OF DISTRICT 5 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDING TO THE PROJECT WHEREAS, the City Council desires to provide for the rehabilitation of the Westmont Park softball fields; and WHEREAS, $40,000 of Community Development Block Grant Funding is available to fund the project NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pomona as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council amends the FY 2024-25 CIP Budget by creating a new CIP project, “Westmont Park Softball Field Rehabilitation,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71120.
SECTION 2. The City Council amends the FY 2024-25 CIP Budget by appropriating $40,000 of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) (District 5) funds from 213-2590-52350-00000 (213-2590-52350-00000 CR, 213-2590-89987-71120 DR, 428-2590-80729-71120 and 428-2590-66196-71120) to “Westmont Park Softball Field Rehabilitation,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71120.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall become effective immediately upon its approval.
